Surprise Sneakers

This is a true story. (I had to do some reality checks too.)
Somebody had trashed a pair of sneakers, these black and white
gym shoes that ended up in the picture. A man in the yard pointed
to them in the trash. The Sneakers seem like almost brand new.
Only neglible wear and tear could be noticed inside the cushioning.
Some letters of text had smeared away from the heel. The strangest
thing though is that they look like as if they could be mine.
