About my Dolls Rose and Violet (Rose has the shorter hair) arrived Dec 12, 2017 - 2 heads & wigs, but just one body. She/they were a special black-Friday deal from the manufacturer - buy the doll, get a second head for free.

She's heavier than I had expected, but no heavier than a 4'10" tall human might be, so I'm not complaining. I was surprised by the quality, even though we've all seen plenty of pictures and video of dolls before making our first purchases - which this is, for me! Upon unboxing, before even fitting a head and wig, I powdered her/them (body and both heads) with Johnson & Johnson's Baby Powder (lavender scented cornstarch powder). I then posed her simply on the couch, dressed her in the lingerie that was included in the shipment, and installed the head I've named "Violet" for a few quick pictures.
Rose (yes, she's my own Tokyo Rose, although I didn't even think of the famous person of that name when I named her. Now named, forever named.) was later moved to a bed to rest on her shipping blanket (very soft!) for a few photos, and then in her own little "get thee to a nunnery" cosplay. (washed 5 times in a row before she was allowed to wear it! I want to avoid any dye bleeding issues.)

The story I made up for them as characters goes thus: Raised together in the same household, both 25 years old, cousins, but call each other sisters after a full lifetime growing up together. The story will evolve as time goes on.

The doll is from Shenzhen Jellynew Technology Co., Ltd. found through Alibaba. Lily Zeng was the representative who helped me through this process of making my first ever doll purchase - she really was very helpful.
I had wanted something a bit taller, but finances had their own reality; I'm almost glad I didn't get a taller one, now, as this one is quite heavy enough to carry around. The weight definitely does add to the realism, at least.

I'm not sure yet if I'll have more dolls in the future, but I'm not closed to the idea.
