With the sides wrapped and tucked around her, the dress looks modest enough for party wear.

IIRC, there was a designer who made waves, a couple of decades ago, by dressing his models in this sort of poly-bag dresses! I tried to do what I remembered seeing in that photo-shoot ... with my own ideas, of course; and I wish I'd gathered those shoulders more closely, but this isn't haute couture.
