A little bit closer

The amber-colored eyes startled me, when I first caught sight of them ... but to me, they add an exotic not-quite-human look to her face, and lessen the "uncanny-valley" effect I'd feared an open-eyed doll would give me.

The costume is from Yandy, and the skirt's waistband is too big for her 20-inch waist. I'll have to take it in, and I will put snaps on both sides to make it easier to dress her in it (and undress her!)
